MSME sector to play key role in North East industrial growth: MSME Minister Rane
Guwahati, April 23 (KNN) MSME Minister Narayan Rane highlighted the important role that the MSME sector can play in driving industrial growth in the North East region.
After inaugurating the 7th Indian Industrial Fair Udyam 2022 in Guwahati, he urged entrepreneurs to avail central government programs and grants to set up their businesses in the region.
Highlighting the potential of tourism, he called on them to explore the sector at an optimal level.
Reiterating the Union government’s commitment to the development of the northeastern states, he said that we will ensure that the region contributes to the growth of the country.
Present at the inauguration, the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, later tweeted: “I am sure this will boost the confidence of entrepreneurs entering the MSME sector. We are committed to providing all support to the sector.
He also hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his sustained efforts to support the growth of MSMEs in the North East. (KNN Office)
