Accenture taps into Japan’s booming digital commerce sector with the acquisition of Tambourine

Accenture Interactive has extended its recent wave of acquisitions with the addition of Tambourine to its growing portfolio of e-commerce capabilities.

The agency specializes in leveraging the Salesforce Business Cloud to deliver unique customer experiences to consumer and entertainment goods companies, a high-growth area in Japan’s rapidly expanding digital commerce industry, which is expected to grow. by 10.5% to reach $ 217.5 billion in sales this year.

Tambourine also develops web services and applications and provides consulting services to help brands build relationships with consumers, thereby strengthening Accenture’s capabilities in these areas.
